Super News for
Phoenix, Arizona
Just as the mythological Phoenix rises from the ashes, Phoenix,
Arizona is poised to arise from the depressing effects of the
nation’s economy, devastated real estate market and local
controversial issues. Forbes magazine named Arizona as one of
the top 10 states for job creation in its September issue. Key
to the city’s growth: Individuals with an entrepreneurial
spirit who will help create and improve technologies.
A big part of this economic boost comes from Arizona’s recent
National Football League coup. For the third time in history,
Arizona will host the National Football League’s Super Bowl.
Super Bowl 2015 will infuse a healthy, much-needed dose of job
growth and economic stimulation.
Although held at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale,
many Super Bowl pre-game and post-game events will take place
in downtown Phoenix. Plans for 1,500 new hotel rooms, expansion
and renovations of downtown venues, and a Metro light rail
system will mean tremendous job opportunities leading up to the
2015 Super Bowl.
